Returning to Los Angeles on October 15, 2026, The 9th Silver PIXel Awards, the entertainment industry’s only awards program dedicated exclusively to celebrating excellence in digital marketing, will recognize three exceptional leaders whose careers have helped shape the evolution of digital in entertainment, while also honoring the year’s most innovative campaigns across theatrical, streaming, independent film, and creator collaboration.

Hollywood In Pixels proudly announces the 2026 Silver Pixel honorees:

  • Visionary Pixel Honoree: Ira Rubenstein, Chief Digital and Marketing Officer, PBS
  • Rising Pixel Honoree: Lydia Jambazian, Senior Manager, Social Marketing, Amazon MGM Studios

2026 HONOREES

This year’s Silver Pixel honoree is Briana McElroy, an award-winning digital marketing executive whose creative leadership has helped shape some of the entertainment industry’s most successful global campaigns. As Executive Vice President, Head of Worldwide Digital Marketing at Lionsgate Films, she oversees worldwide digital strategy for the studio’s motion picture slate, including titles such as Michael, The Hunger Games, John Wick, and The Housemaid, as well as upcoming releases including The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping and The Resurrection of the Christ.

Prior to joining Lionsgate, McElroy was a leader within Twitter’s Media & Entertainment team, driving global partnerships with Warner Bros. Discovery and The Walt Disney Company. Earlier, as Digital Marketing Director for Warner Bros. Pictures, she led campaigns for Wonder Woman, Kong: Skull Island, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Annabelle: Creation, Ocean’s 8, A Star Is Born, and Pokémon Detective Pikachu. Throughout her career, McElroy has consistently demonstrated how bold creative thinking and audience-first storytelling can elevate both iconic franchises and original films.

This year’s Rising Pixel honoree is Lydia Jambazian who represents the next generation of entertainment marketers, creating social-first campaigns that build passionate fan communities and drive cultural conversation. As Senior Manager, Social Marketing at Amazon MGM Studios, she leads campaigns across theatrical releases, streaming films, and series, blending creativity, authenticity, and audience insight to engage fans around the world.

Her work includes award-winning campaigns for Saltburn, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Project Hail Mary, Daisy Jones & The Six, and Another Simple Favor. Lydia also leads social strategy for Prime Video’s YA and women’s initiatives, including the breakout Obsession Is In Session campaign, Prime Book Club, and Obsessed Fest, supporting titles including Off Campus, Elle, and The Love Hypothesis. Prior to Amazon MGM Studios, she managed social campaigns for Disney’s theatrical and Disney+ releases across Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney live-action franchises.

Known for her ability to create authentic connections between audiences and entertainment brands, Lydia believes the most successful campaigns invite fans into the conversation and celebrate the communities that make storytelling thrive.

Ira Rubenstein is this year’s Visionary Pixel honoree. Ira has been one of the industry’s most influential architects of digital entertainment strategy, helping shape how studios, networks, and audiences embraced the digital revolution. Today, as Chief Digital and Marketing Officer at PBS, he leads the organization’s digital consumer experiences and marketing strategy, overseeing the continued evolution of PBS’ digital platforms, products, and audience engagement.

Throughout a career spanning more than two decades, Rubenstein has held executive leadership roles at PBS, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Entertainment, Sony, and MeeMee Media. At 20th Century Fox, he established the studio’s Digital Marketing organization and led groundbreaking campaigns for films including Prometheus, Chronicle, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and X-Men: First Class. At Marvel, he spearheaded global digital initiatives across websites, digital comics, games, and video distribution, including the award-winning Marvel Digital Comics iPad app. Earlier at Sony, he helped pioneer digital content strategy, online distribution, and entertainment marketing at a time when the industry was redefining how audiences engaged with film and television.

A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Television Academy, and the Producers Guild of America, Rubenstein has remained a champion of innovation and mentorship throughout his career. He was also the first member of the Hollywood In Pixels Board of Directors, a role he continues to hold today.

The 2nd Annual Silver Pixel Awards International – EMEA

Hollywood In Pixels returns to London this spring for the second annual Silver Pixel Awards International – EMEA, celebrating the leaders shaping the future of digital and data-driven marketing for film and entertainment.

Over the past decade, Hollywood In Pixels has become a cornerstone of the digital Hollywood community in Los Angeles, and with our International edition, HIP is proud to extend the celebration to recognize the exceptional work happening outside of the U.S. The event will be held on April 23, 2026 at the Vue Cinema London – West End to celebrate the achievements of four outstanding international theatrical marketing leaders.

The Silver Pixel, the marquee award of the evening, honors outstanding industry contributions by a senior executive overseeing digital marketing and innovation at a studio or streaming service, and will be presented to Joshua Heaton-Armstrong. Joshua is the Director of Digital Marketing at Sony Pictures Releasing UK, where he leads digital strategy across the studio’s theatrical slate in the UK & Ireland. With 19 years at the studio, he oversees end-to-end digital campaign development spanning paid media, digital publicity, and creator partnerships, contributing to the success of Sony’s major global releases. 

Joshua has played a central role in shaping Sony’s digital theatrical presence in the region, guiding campaigns across major franchises and tentpoles while continuously evolving strategy to meet shifting audience behaviors. He has led UK digital efforts on recent releases including Venom: The Last Dance and 28 Years Later, alongside earlier releases in the James Bond and Spider-Man™ franchises during his tenure with the studio. 

Before joining Sony, Joshua held senior agency roles at MG OMD and PHD Media, where he helped pioneer early digital advertising strategies for leading entertainment and consumer brands during the formative years of online media. Today, he is recognized as a key voice in theatrical digital marketing, respected for his contributions to innovations driving the future of cinema marketing in a connected world.

The Vanguard Pixel celebrates a senior marketing executive who has played a trailblazing role in advancing digital marketing innovation, and Kezia Williams is this year’s honoree. Kezia is Managing Director of Universal Pictures UK & Ireland, where she leads theatrical distribution, marketing, publicity, sales and strategy for the UK’s leading film distributor.

She has over 20 years’ experience in the film and entertainment industry, having begun her career in advertising before moving into senior leadership roles at Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. and eOne. Her work spans global franchise launches, independent and specialty releases, and award-winning campaigns.

Alongside her studio role, Kezia is a co-founder of Kazoo Films, a UK-based distribution company focused on bringing the very best animated family films to UK & Irish audiences.

She is also Chair of MediCinema, the UK charity that builds and operates cinemas in hospitals, using the power of film to support wellbeing for patients, families and NHS staff.

The Prestige Pixel is bestowed upon an individual or organization with extraordinary foundational contributions to Hollywood digital marketing. This year’s honoree is Col Needham, Founder & Executive Chair of IMDb, the world’s most popular and authoritative source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrities. Col provides strategic guidance, consults on key initiatives, and serves as a global ambassador for IMDb. Col founded IMDb in 1990 and served as CEO for 35 years, during which he built IMDb into the world’s leading source of entertainment information.

IMDb grew out of a personal database of movie information which Col created as a teenager, combined with similar data collected on the internet in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Col published the first version of IMDb online in October 1990 and coordinated IMDb as a worldwide volunteer effort from 1990-1996. IMDb incorporated in January 1996 with the volunteers as shareholders and IMDb became a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon in April 1998. IMDbPro, the essential resource for entertainment professionals, launched in 2002 to empower members to launch and grow their careers.

Col is a board member of Into Film and Film Independent and serves as Global Brand Ambassador for the British Board of Film Classification. He received a 2014 Creative Coalition Independent Spotlight award for his work to support independent filmmaking and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Bristol in 2018. Col has been a jury member for leading film festivals around the world, including the Mumbai Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, and the Tribeca Film Festival.

The Rising Pixel honors a mid-career executive already making exemplary contributions to the craft of digital marketing. This year’s honoree is Gaia Porcu, Digital Manager at Paramount Pictures.

Gaia manages all digital and social campaigns for Paramount Pictures in the UK. Adapting global strategy, shaping it for the UK market, on campaigns including Top Gun: Maverick, Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Dead Reckoning, Bob Marley: One Love, the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Smile, and Gladiator II, as well as originating digital strategy on UK-led productions such as Blue Story, and Sumotherhood, bringing movies to audiences through unmissable digital moments and mass-reaching social campaigns.

Hollywood In Pixels will host its Inaugural Silver Pixel Awards International on April 3rd at The Arches London Bridge, honoring film marketing leaders Chris Massey of Universal Pictures and Bethan Fallon of Warner Bros. Pictures.

The global business impact of digital innovation in entertainment marketing is as true today as it was at the birth of our digital industry and we are thrilled to debut this expansion of the Silver Pixel Awards by honoring such creative and accomplished marketing veterans.

The Silver Pixel, the marquee award, honors outstanding industry contributions by a senior executive overseeing digital marketing and innovation at a studio or streaming service, and will be presented to Chris Massey, Universal Pictures EVP Data Strategy & Transformation. Pictures. Overseeing film marketing and strategy across more than 50 markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Fallon has played an integral role in the success of Warner Bros.’ biggest theatrical releases, including BARBIE, WONKA, THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY and the HARRY POTTER franchise. With over 26 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Fallon has been a driving force behind innovative regional campaigns, forging partnerships with leading media platforms. Her work extends beyond marketing, as she has mentored young professionals through Warner Bros.’ Creative Talent Scheme and OK Mentor.

The 6th Silver Pixel Awards

We are thrilled to announced October 19th, 2023 as the date of our 6th Silver Pixel Awards, bringing together the digital Hollywood community to celebrate and honor the best and the brightest leaders for their contributions in digital and data marketing innovation.

This year’s Silver Pixel Honoree is Jessica Thurber Hemingway, Head of Social and Influencer Marketing at Amazon Studios, formerly of Warner Bros. Pictures. She leads a global team responsible for social and influencer campaigns for all Amazon Original Movies and Series releases. Most recently she led the campaigns for AIR, THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER, and SWARM. Thurber has over 15 years of entertainment marketing expertise, including 11 years at Warner Bros, where she last served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Digital Marketing. During her tenure there, she oversaw the digital marketing efforts for WONDER WOMAN, FANTASTIC BEASTS and WHERE TO FIND THEM, POKEMON DETECTIVE PIKACHU, MAGIC MIKE and THE CONJURING / ANNABELLE film series.

The Rising Pixel Honoree is Eric Dachman, Executive Director of Digital Marketing at Lionsgate. Dachman has been at the studio for over 4 years, previously at IMAX. At Lionsgate, his current responsibilities include developing and implementing the digital strategies for the upcoming slate of theatrical movies. One of his greatest and most recent accomplishments has been growing the Lionsgate TikTok account to over 5M followers. When there’s spare time, you’ll find him deep into Adobe Premiere, cutting and editing TikToks.

Jim Evans, founder of Division 13 Design Group, is the Visionary Pixel Honoree. Evans is an artist and owner of the digital design group Division 13, an entertainment industry creative powerhouse. Under his leadership the team has worked with nearly every studio in town to build a portfolio of award-winning digital campaigns, for some of the biggest films of the last two decades, running the gamut from THE RING and HELLBOY to KUNG FU PANDA and the MADAGASCAR franchise.
